New Way of Life for a Few Weeks

This little gray kitten has pretty much taken over our lives right now .. "Oh, wait, we can't stay long, gotta go feed the kitten." I guess I should rig up a car seat so I can just take it along with me like a kid. Okay, not going to do that, but at least in another week or so I can stop coming home every day at lunch to feed it and make it poop, and stop the nighttime feeding and pooping. Soon it will be able to go longer between feedings and go potty on it's own. Hallelujah. That will be nice. I know, I did this to myself! :) It will all be worth it in the end. Addyson has named him "Shadow."

The kids are loving the kitten, of course.

Oh wait, no gray kitten in this picture, just Snowbell. We did recently find out he was a boy for sure, so I think he needs a more masculine name .. at this point all I can come up with is "Snowbelt" though, because he will always be Snowbell to Addyson.

The kids and I went on a little hike at the Wilderness Center. The nursery school has a "Nature Club" that meets once a month at various parks. It was a chilly day, but the kids had a good time feeding the geese and fish, seeing a small rat snake, hiking through the woods, and taking in some beautiful scenery.
