Fall Fun

What a full, fall, fun-filled weekend. Fall is just my favorite time of year with the cooler weather and beautiful colors. I took this one down by our pond.




We carved pumpkins this weekend. Big pumpkins.


Surprise, surprise, Addyson loved the slimey "pumpkin guts" and seeds. She pulled out every last seed. Aeron stuck one hand in and said, "Eww, I don't wike dat."

We had the 4th annual Multiples Halloween party with the families from Akron Children's. 13 kids under the age of 4. What that a trip! Look how big everyone is getting.

Matt and I took the kids to the Akron Zoo this weekend. It was perfect. It's a smaller zoo, but for three year-olds it's great because it took about 2 hours to walk all the way through and we were ready to go. The air was a little chilly, but the sun was warm. There were maybe 8 other cars there.. seriously. It was great. The kids fed alpacas, pet sheep and goats, rode a small train, saw bears, tigers, turtles, flamingos, penguins.. all kinds of fun animals.

We also spent some time in the leaves one afternoon. The kids had a blast being showered with leaves as Matt blew them into a pile with the tractor. Once the pile was made, of course, more fun with jumping.
