Aeron after stepping out of the shower: "I'm siverin'. I can't stop siverin'. My teeth are movin'."
I was unbuckling Addyson from her seat in the car. She said, "Mommy, you have a puppy on your back. Let me get it off." I was in a slight hurry, "Come on, we need to go.. isn't it just an imaginary puppy anyway?" "No," she said pretty convincingly. I was still sure there was nothing on me, but I gave in and bent over so she could get the "puppy" off my back. She promptly ripped a sticker off my sweatshirt.. with a puppy on it. No idea how it got there, but I guess she knew what she was talking about.
I asked the kids to wash their hands before lunch. I didn't check on them as they were washing, but the next time I went to the bathroom I saw this.. at least I know they used soap.

Once again I'm waking up for night-time feedings. We have a newborn in our house. The third kitty in about one year has shown up at our house. This little guy, though, is quite a bit smaller than the other two when they showed up. A stray had a litter of kittens in our barn. She moved all the others, but left this little guy behind. My guess is he/she was just born last Saturday. We've been bottle-feeding and keeping him warm.. hopefully one day it will be able to romp around with the rest of the cats. So far it doesn't have a name other than "the wittle, tiny, baby kitty."
Aeron asked where the kitty's chocolate milk was.
The kids peeking in. Oh, and notice the beautiful flowers? Those would be from Matt.. we celebrated our 8th anniversary on the 6th. Happy Anniversary to us!
How precious is this picture? It has started opening it's eyes the slightest bit in the last day.
I had haircut appointments scheduled for me and Addyson Saturday. Aeron came with us and ended up getting his cut as well .. not really because he needed one but because he wanted to sit in the chair and get a haircut, too. They sat very still and did a great job.
The kids got horseback rides this weekend out of the blue. We were at a cousins house and the neighbors came out and asked if the kids wanted to ride a horse. Well, of course! Each of the kids took several turns. Addyson and Aeron both rode by themselves as well, and loved every minute of it.
