Painting, A Movie, and The Fair!

Some pictures from last weekend.. the kids helping us stain the swingset. They actually did pretty well. By the end they were painting up on the top platform until their brushes ran out of paint, then sliding down the slide, getting more paint on their brush, handing it to me, climbing back and up and then getting their brush from me to start the process over again.

The kids helping dad get ready for a little family Labor Day picnic..

And of course the rain was a hit at the picnic..

Matt borrowed a projected for the big OSU game this weekend (good times until the last part of the 4th quarter, but we won't talk about that) so we took advantage and watched "Bolt" on our own personal big screen the night before for movie night. Yes, we even drug a couch into the garage.

You can kind of see their littled heads down at the bottom sitting on the couch..

It's Wayne County Fair time! I took the kids down for visit Saturday. We watched daddy, uncle Vinnie and Grandpa cook chicken, we saw lots of animals in the barn, and had to take a ride on the one ride I really do not like .. the ferris wheel. All week the kids have been talking about it because when we drive into town they could see it. I held on tight and tensed up every time the ride jerked .. of course we got stopped on the very top, but the kids loved it. Addyson even stopped holding on halfway through the ride. They were both smiling from ear to ear the whole time.

Ferris wheel pictures..

The kids loved the lambs. Aeron actually got in there and pet quite a few before hopping back into the wagon, and Addyson went to each and every cage and held her hand out trying to lure each of them over to pet. She was successful quite a few times. It was like she didn't want to leave any of them out and really took her time with each of them. She's our animal lover. Aeron liked to watch the cows, and really enjoyed the big fair corn dog.

I would of been a nervous reck on the ferris wheel. I hate that ride. It is just to darn slow for me and I always get stuck on top.
