Dancing the Night Away

There have been several mornings we have gotten up and found some books laying out. We figure Addyson has gotten up in the middle of the night and come out to the living room to read. Most of the time we hear her come out of her room or she will come to our room to let us know she is up .. but she must have been very quiet or couldn't wake us up these few times. Who knows how long she was out there reading!

We cheered on our Buckeyes to their second win of the season this weekend. We bought the kids new OSU shirts and when I showed Addyson hers, she said, "Ohio Tate!" Aeron likes to say, "Go Bucks!" Yes, they are making daddy very proud.

I think we have a future "So You Think You Can Dance" star on our hands. We attended a wedding this weekend, and Addyson danced at the reception (which as at our bowling alley) like a pro. She was out there bouncing, twirling, and swaying for the longest time - especially with aunt "Shel" (Michele). She was loving it, and kept telling us, "I dance!" Aeron also enjoyed dancing around as well, but not so much by himself.

Here's our serious dancer bee-bopping. I didn't get many good pics of her cuttin' the rug.

This might have been an "ashes, ashes, we all fall down" moment.

Miss Goofy at the wedding.

Mr. Handsome all dressed up.

Addyson is quite the daddy's girl these days. Matt was an usher at the wedding, and every time he would leave to seat someone, she would cry because daddy was walking away. It was so pitiful.

The other day Addyson was not cooperating so well getting in the house and up the stairs from the car. By the time I got both of them upstairs, Addyson was quite peeved and crying. Aeron walked up to her, gave her a big hug and said, "I wuv you, Adson, top cwying." It was the sweetest thing.

The other day Aeron was in an I-would-rather-talk-than-nap mood. Matt was in our room doing something and could hear Aeron in his room jabbering on when a motorcycle zoomed by outside his window down the road. Aeron said, "Motorcycle! Fast!" Yeah, he never did fall asleep that day.

I am participating as a virtual walker in the Walk4Babies again this year. This walk benefits the Akron Children's Hospital NICU, where Addyson and Aeron stayed for 90 days. I know I have already asked for money from most of you for the March of Dimes Walk this year that benefits prematurity nationwide, as well as Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society, so I'm just throwing this out there in case anyone is interested. Thanks, Chantel for the great photos and comments. You must be terrific parents and you a great writer. Tony is not posting very often about Jai, so I resort to yours. Keep it up!
