The first thing Aeron says, well yells, really, after he's done with dinner is "OUSSIDE!" (yes, that's how he says it, it's not a typo.) The other evening it had rained, so I put their boots on and hoped for the best. I didn't know the puddles were there until we made it outside. For a while we tried to stay out of them .. the kids really didn't seem to care about them, but then..
they started eye-balling them..
..and pretty soon they were dancing and jumping and that was all she wrote..
That was a quite a load of laundry .. mud everywhere, but those smiles made it worth it. At one point Addyson was hovering over the puddle and said "sit?" with a goofy grin on her face. I said, "oh no," and she just giggled.
