Aeron is our fast runner and a jumping bean. He is constantly running up and down a hill, or back and forth between things. And when he gets excited, he kind of bounces and runs, almost skipping. It's too cute. He is very steady on his feet .. climbs up the ladder to slide without even thinking, and takes steps up and down on his own really well. This isn't to say he doesn't have his clumsy side like walking right into a chair because he's not paying attention, but who doesn't do that?
He eats like a horse, at least compared to Addyson, but burns off everything. He has little bird legs to prove it. He loves his "rie-ries" for snacks (raisins), and you have get a "bowl" for him to put them in. Once he has the bowl, it's "my bowl" and "my rie-ries."
Aeron loves to give hugs and kisses, especially when it's time to leave. He runs up and hugs your knees and waits for you to come down and hug him back. He loves to snuggle in your lap for a book. He is absolutely crazy about his two older cousins, Jacob and Jared, 10 and 8. If these two are around, no one else exists, and he follows them around like a little lost puppy. They are both "Ja-ja" to him.
At least for me (mom), every time I try to raise my voice and be stern with Aeron, which is not very often, he just looks up at me with his huge brown eyes, his eyebrows kind of furrow, and then all of the sudden he just gets this huge grin on his face. No matter how mad I am, it makes me smile and then we just start giggling. It makes it really hard to discipline him, but by that time you kind of forget what it was anyway.
Aeron's thing right now is chewing gum. Out of the blue he just yells, "gum!" We give him just a small piece and he will most often swallow it after a bit and come back and say, "one more," but today he chewed his gum for about an hour and a half. Addyson will chew hers for quite a while most of the time, too, but isn't the one that asks for it.
He is quick to give in to his sister, many times. If she wants something, he will just give it to her, or get something else for her so that she is happy too. He has said "Add-son" a few times now if we ask him, but 99% of the time, it's just "sister." He will even give "sister turn" on the motorized truck they have. He loves to push her out of the gravel if she gets stuck and then is so proud when it starts to go again.
Aeron loves to help daddy. Whether it's with the tractor, hauling mulch, or just crouching down to look because that's what daddy is doing, he is right there. If he hears that tractor going and he's not on it, boy does he get peeved.
Aeron just puts a smile on your face every day with his cuteness.

It is so much fun to check out the website and see how the kids have grown. They have gotten so big since I last saw them. Thanks for keeping us updated.
