Our First Real Sledding Trip

The kids spent quite a bit of time outside this week and could not get enough. The weather was rather warm, but the ground was still covered since we had so much snow last weekend. We had trouble getting them inside every time without some kicking and screaming. I can't wait until we can go out every evening and run around.. I know the kids are ready. Spring cannot arrive soon enough.
We took advantage of near 60 degree weather and snow still being on the ground one evening on G&G's Y's great hill. And even better, thanks to grandpa and the tractor, we didn't have to walk up the hill quite so often!
From the moment we got there until the moment we left, I am not sure Aeron left the little red sled. He went up and down the hill more times than I can count. He would go down the hill all by himself and then just sit there waiting for someone to get him. Not once did he get off and start walking back up the hill on his own.. he was either pulled by someone or the tractor. One famed trip, Aeron went down a very unbeaten path way to the left and just kept going and gaining more and more speed .. almost down to the neighbor's woods. In yet another he almost ran right into the side of the barn (see picture below), but luckily there was a patch of uncovered grass that stopped him.
Addyson took a little more time to warm up to the idea of sledding down the hill, but once she went, she couldn't get enough. All three little ones (cousin Emma included) just kept saying "more!" Addyson liked laying down on the sled even better than sitting.
