Caged Animals

So the kids have figured out they like to eat breakfast through the rails of the bench. They sit on the window ledge behind the bench and we snake the spoon through the slats and into their wide-open mouths. Strange, but whatever works, right?
This bench has become a playground for them. They have learned to climb up on the bench themselves by stepping on the rung. They hide behind the bench when they are trying to get away from us, are hiding a toy from each other, or hiding something they shouldn't have in the first place. They love to sit back there and watch out the window or just squeeze through and chase each other around and around. Who knew a bench could be so many things?

Aeron's shoe fettish has not gone away. The other day I came home from work and Aeron came running up like he was so happy to see me. I bent down to give him a hug and he stooped down and went straight for my shoes. He wanted me to take them off so he could wear them. Rejected!

Just a quick HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to us .. number 6! Can't believe this weather we are having .. tremendously warm and close to 90 degrees. This time six years ago everyone was sitting around the pool with blankets covering their legs like they were at a football game.
