Learning Even More Everyday

The kids are growing up so fast these days. Every time we turn around they are learning something new or doing something better than they did just a day or two before.

Both Addyson and Aeron are now "swimming" on their own with the help of innertube suits. They have to balance themselves a little by kicking their legs, but the tube helps them float all by themselves. Aeron was even jumping off the side with mom's help tonight. Addyson is all over the pool, and Aeron is very quickly picking it up as well. We are quite impressed.

We're swimming!

More slip-n-slide this weekend, too!

Just in the last few days Aeron has figured out pedaling the little bike with training wheels, while Addyson is pedaling the tricycle.

And fishing down at the pond, Aeron, with dad's help, caught two small bass. They both loved holding the poles, flipping them around in the water, reeling, and playing with the fake bait, of course.

What a pretty picture down at our pond!

Addyson is getting ready for our vacation next week .. we are going to Sesame Place in PA, and then on to VA for a reunion over the weekend. We are really looking forward to it. Just a heads up, the post might be a little late next week depending on when we get back.

Miss Addyson has started correcting us when we say something wrong. I asked her to drink her milk the other day, and she looked at me and said, "Water, mom!" Yes, it was water that she had in her cup.
She was biting on her thumb just today, and I told her to get her fingers out of her mouth. "Thumb!" she said. Yes, again, it was her thumb.
We asked if she wanted her shoes off. "Sandals, no shoes!" Once again, yes, they were sandals, not shoes. What were we thinking!?

Aeron is a non-stop-motor-mouth. He is constantly asking questions and telling us what he sees. He has to know what is going on and if he doesn't, he asks, many, many times. And when he does know what is going on, just in case you aren't watching what he is watching, he will tell you what is going on.. many, many times.

How boring was our life before these two?
