Swimming last weekend at G&G Yoder's. The water was freezing, but the kids loved it. They would lean down as far as they could to get their faces and hair in the water. Aeron did fall in once (we were taking bets on who it would be,) but he went right back at it once we stripped him down and dried him off a bit. The pool is going to be getting some good use this summer, I have a feeling.
We had a fun day out today. Daddy had a few make-up softball games, so the kids and mommy went to watch. After the games the kids had a great time on the playground. Swings, slides,
merry go round,
and even the see-saw
Afterwards, we stopped for some lunch and ice cream. I think this was the first time the kids had ice cream cones, and they actually did pretty well with them.
This would be a little kitty that was found wondering around at our house just before the weekend. Luckily, we have already found a home for him with some friends. We would love to keep him .. Addyson cannot get enough of him, but Bailey is just not a cat-lover at all. Not to mention Addyson likes to hug the kitty a little tight around the neck at times, so we would really have to watch her. Aeron liked the kitty, too, but for much shorter amounts of time than his sister. It sure is adorable, though! I am guessing a kitty will be a pet in the future for us at some point..
