Motivation, Dancing, and Peeking

We have found Addyson's biggest motivation to move thus far. No, not by crawling, but scooting on her butt. There is a drawer we have set up for "bigger kids" when they visit. Things like crayons, coloring books, and all kinds of gadgets and toys we have found in cereal boxes, etc. I guess since Aeron and Addyson know these are not "their" toys it make it even more fun to get in there and play. If Addyson sees Aeron getting in the drawer, she makes her way over there by scooching her legs back and forth. She is doing it more and more often. Matt was home with the kids last week and said Aeron was playing in the drawer. Addyson kept creeping closer and closer. Aeron would play with a toy and put it back in the drawer making sure Addyson couldn't get to it. Sneaky little devil.

Both Addyson and Aeron like to dance to music. This is Addyson bouncing around on the couch. A favorite song is "The ABC's." Aeron tilts his head to one side and nods and bounces. Addyson will sometimes wave her hands back and forth as she sways. We try to have dance-time at least once a day.

Aeron has really taken to peeking at Addyson and mom and dad. He loves to peek under tables. Once Addyson sees him, she peeks back and they just giggle. Aeron is also loving the mirror right now. He loves looking at himself and smiling, but then he crooks his neck around until he can see mom or dad somewhere in the mirror and smiles.
