It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Wow .. 10 days until Christmas. The kids are so excited and keep asking when Santa is bringing them presents. It's been quite fun using the "Santa is watching you" phrase to get things done.. or stopped.. whatever the case may be.

Neither Addyson or Aeron had any problem jumping right up on Santa's lap this year.


We had another round of baking cookies this weekend. Both kids helped me roll at least half of the 5 dozen peanut butter cookie balls, and they unwrapped each and every Hershey kiss.. counting each one. They were very helpful, and the cookies turned out delicious.


Addyson has been all about helping out in the kitchen .. and anywhere, really. She often pulls up a chair and wants to help. She washed all the dinner dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher this night. Who can say no to that?


We had our first real snowfall, and you can bet the kids were out playing in it. They were making snow angels here, of course. They played until dark. Hopefully we can do some sledding soon.
