4 Years Already?!

Somehow our little babies turned 4 today. Four. I still can't believe it's been four years since our lives were turned upside down with their unexpected entrance into the world. Brings a little tear to my eye looking at them today and thinking about how far they have come. Suffice to say I'm pretty proud of these two.

Happy 4th Birthday, Addyson and Aeron!

Aeron wanted a "digger cake" and blue.


Addyson wanted worms, bugs, frogs, and pink.


Even on her party day, Addyson wanted to help get things ready.


The party menu: corn dogs and french fries. The best thing for the kids is that we had corn dogs leftover, so they have had them several times in the last few days as well.








Worms, bugs, toads, diggers, pink and blue .. I think we meshed everything together pretty well. Afterwards, Addyson said, "that was the best party ever, mom!"

This gator was given to us a while ago, and thanks to Grandpa Y, it was brought back to life. The kids had a ball with it, and, Aeron especially, can't wait for this darn snow to melt so they can "wide dat green sing that goes back and fors all da time."




The hardest part of having a birthday in the middle of the week and having your party the weekend before is realizing your are still not yet 4. When they woke up this morning and found out they were finally 4 they were so excited. And even more so when they found a few more things to open..
