The kids really liked camping in a tent, and spending the weekend with their cousins. I'd have to say Addyson's favorite part of the weekend was fishing, standing on the "stage" with Emma playing music, and playing with the kitty. Aeron's, I am sure, was getting rides on the go-cart (thanks Jacob and Jared!) and riding bikes - both of which I have no pictures of, which is crazy because seriously this is all he did.
Addyson and Emma on "stage". They would play a little tune and then take a bow so everyone would clap.
Aeron catching one of many fish. He actually kissed one before it was thrown back in.
Addyson loved to hold the fish and then throw them back into the pond. Many fish were caught this weekend.
Every camping trip has some sort of "event," right? We had a rather windy Saturday and the canopy decided to fly away on us. We did have some rain on Saturday as well, but nothing too bad. We entertained the little ones with some Candyland during the showers and of course they wanted to run through the puddles.
The animals enjoyed themselves all weekend as well. Here are Tress and the little kitty (Snowbell or Boots or just Kitty depending on who you talk to) hanging out.
Cayce sharing her food with the kitten.
After a few very late nights and a few long days of playing, (and a good swim on Sunday afternoon), the kids (and mom and dad) were pooped. Addyson fell asleep watching 'Cars' before 7pm tonight. Just goes to show if you are tired enough, you can even fall asleep during one of your favorite movies.
Aeron of course didn't fall asleep during the movie, but was out as soon as we laid him down. I think it's fair to say we all had a great time. And are already talking about doing it next year.

I agree, slow down some. We rarely get those times when you can have a small one fall asleep in your arms. Or even more recently, stand back and watch them play. Now days you have to be quick on your feet to see them play. On the other hand, It's great to see them progress through this exciting period. They are learning something new every day and, as you point out growing like weeds.
