Celebrating Number Three

We celebrated Addyson and Aeron's third birthday this weekend with a small family party. The kids have been looking forward to their birthday party for weeks, and it finally arrived. It is so hard to believe Addyson and Aeron will be three on Tuesday. What a great party they had. They really enjoyed themselves and it was a joy to see. They wanted everyone to sing "Happy Birthday," but when it actually came time for it, I think they were a little embarrased, but that soon faded when they were able to blow out their candles. And of course the presents were a hit. No help was needed to open gifts this year.

Look how big our birthday kids are getting..

Excited about their cakes and ready for singing..

During "Happy Birthday".. neither of them really wanted to look at anyone.

Aeron pounding away on his new toolbench..

Enjoying another new birthday toy!

Addyson in a new dress-up outfit (no, she's not supposed to be Little Bo-Peep .. it's a veil, I think. :) )

Addyson and Aeron are growing up so fast in front of our eyes. Imaginations are soaring (we heard Aeron has been telling people we have sheep in our barn and he goes out to feed them. We don't have sheep, nor have we even talked about having sheep), vocabularies are growing (Addyson can say more words in a sentence than we can count now), and while it is sad how fast it has gone, we are really proud of the little people they are growing into. Thank you to everyone who is part of Addyson and Aeron's lives. They are growing into the people they are because of you and we love you!
