Daddy has taught Addyson to wink!
The kids taking a break in the cat bed. They had been running around chasing each other and were tired, according to Addyson. I promise, Tress does actually lay here, even though you always see the kids in the bed on the blog.
The kids were using Trees's food and water bowls to feed their animals (wooden figures from a puzzle), so I got out their play kitchen bowls and put a small amount of water in two and popcorn in the others. Of course the drinking ended up with bathing the animals, but that would be the reason behind the small amount of water to begin with.
Look who came to our house this weekend! The kids loved Santa. Addyson talked to him from the moment he walked in, and Aeron only took a short time to warm up. They sat on his lap, told him they wanted "Dora" and "Diego" and did a great job. Before bed they were talking about him again and said he was "tall" and "nice."
We enjoyed some snow this weekend, as well. I literally drug Aeron back in the house only because it was too cold to stay out much longer - even though the kids probably felt like the little guy on 'A Christmas Story' once I was done dressing them to go out. They made snow angels, slid down their slide (boy does it fly with snow pants!), and played with outdoor toys they haven't seen in a few months.
