We packed them up in the car tonight and took them to a large lights/characters/moving display down near Nashville (Ohio, that is), and they loved it. On the way we say quite a few houses with lights as well, and Addyson would say, "Ooh, dat bootful!" And Aeron, "Ooh, pitty!"

I was thinking I could blog something about, "A Day in the Life of a 2-Year Old," but this series of pictures was taken in the course of about 30 minutes, so it's not very accurate.
Let's start off with having a snack after waking from naps (well, quiet time at least for one little boy on this day, who decided he would rather play quietly in his room by strewing dirty laundry to every corner of his room and then pick tiny little pieces off the basket-weaved hamper.) I found Addyson sitting on a chair in the middle of her room yesterday when I thought she was napping. Ah yes, we are starting to see some days with no naps, but these days make for easier bedtimes :), so we aren't pushing too hard every day. Alrighty then.. a little side-tracked there. Where were we? Oh, yes .. snacking on gummy dinosaurs with the kitty looking on..
.. resting arm on brother for no apparant reason, still eating gummy dinosaurs.
.. eating gummy dinosaurs off the toilet. Yum. Who doesn't do this?
.. sitting quietly for quite some time while reading new library books.. with bellies full of gummy dinosaurs.
Aeron's saying of the week: "Dat be okay?"
