Have I Mentioned Aeron Likes Tractors?

I think I have mentioned something about Aeron and tractors in most of the entries lately. Well, the Wayne County Fair was this past week, so I will have to mention them again. This horrible mom took ONE picture during the fair this year. One picture.. and this was the first fair that the kids actually knew what was going on. The picture is of course Aeron on a tractor. I think Grandma Y. snapped a few of the kids when she took them in with me, so I hope to get a few from her to post. We saw pigs, horses, cows, chickens, rabbits, sheep, and goats. The goats were hands-down a favorite of Addyson and Aeron. Addyson was fearless when it came to petting the animals. She even tried to climb into the goat cages. Aeron liked the animals, but the most excitement for him was the tractors. He would point and say what sounded like "What's that!" in a high-pitched voice. Addyson loves sitting on tractors, too, I might add, but I think Aeron would live on one if we let him. Below is the one lonely picture mom took at the fair:

Aeron has said "tractor" several times (surprise, surprise), or more like "tah-tah", but he isn't quite the talker his sister is yet. Addyson is quite the talker these days. She will repeat most words you want her to, and she does a pretty good job of articulating them. She's very good at waving and saying "bye-bye". She has started to hold her hands up and say, "Where'd it go?" Here is little miss Addyson climbing on a tub she turned upside down so she can reach the doorknob.

And here are a few pictures I took just tonight before bedtime. They have their new long sleeve PJs on for the cooler nights we are having. Aeron's has an alligator and Addyson's has a giraffe. The last picture is of the kids kissing. At least one time every day this week they have done this and I finally snapped at the right time. All I have to say is "give Addyson a kiss" or "give Aeron a kiss" and as long as they are both in the kissing mood, they smooch. Addyson still gives open-mouth kisses, but Aeron is very good at puckering up. I love it. They may fight like brother and sister, but they do love each other!
