Playing Outside

The kids seem to be still catching up on sleep from vacation, or maybe they are growing. Whatever the case, they have been sleeping almost an extra hour overnight.
Addyson continues to take steps on her own, although she still prefers to crawl. We had to give her bangs a little trim for the second time in 3 months. She is really getting good at repeating words like "baby," "book," and "ball." She also loves saying "Hi!" in a high voice when you walk in the room. She loves playing outside and finds dirt no matter where she is.
Aeron's hair doesn't look like it will need trimmed for 3 years. Aeron is our grunter. He says "mama" and "dada" when he wants to, but would rather walk around grunting while moving his hands up and down and pointing. He can walk circles around Addyson, but she can talk circles around him! Aeron loves playing peek-a-boo. He holds his hands over his eyes and then pulls them down really fast and says "Ahhh" in a really high voice. Aeron loves being outside, too, and thinks it's funny to run down the hill that is way too big for him as mom and dad try to catch him before he falls on his face.
Aeron has been up from naps quite often before Addyson in the last few days. Once he hears that she is awake, he takes off down the hall and pushes open her door. It's adorable because when she sees him she just smiles and he looks up at her and just grins.
