Laughing the Day Away

Looking back on this week, I guess it's been quite busy..

Aeron is now clapping. Addyson can sit herself up after laying down.

Aeron is taking off walking all over the place now .. from chair to chair, table to chair. Not without falling sometimes, of course, but he does better if we don't make a big deal about it. So we just peak from the corner of our eye and cheer quietly. He looks so cute walking around because he's so small.

The kids are pretty regularly holding their own bottles now. They have been doing it on and off for a while, but it's very helpful now.

Both love to be "chased". Aeron takes off as fast as he can and then stops to look back to see where you are. Addyson loves being chased, but also loves chasing after Aeron as fast as her pulling/army crawling tactic will allow.

I think the best noise in the world is those two laughing at each other. The favorite time of the day right now is right after they eat dinner and we play until it's time to get ready for bed. They are full and happy and just so much fun. They make each other giggle almost every evening during this time and just occupy themselves by finding different things to get into. The last two pictures are during this evening time. I have to aplogize for Aeron's non-matching outfit. He had a sweatshirt on all day that covered the onesie and I took it off while he was eating .. didn't realize how much it doesn't match until after I saw the pic. Oh well.

The other evening I ran downstairs to throw the laundry in the dryer, leaving the kids in the dining room. I could hear them squealing and laughing the whole time I was down there. As soon as I came upstairs it was silent. I walked into the dining room. Nothing. Into the kitchen. Nothing. Into the living room. Nothing. I was starting to get nervous, although I knew they had to be there somewhere. I walked down the hall and finally in their room .. not somewhere they go on a normal day, but there they were just playing quietly. When I walked in they both just looked up at me and smiled. It was like they heard me walking around looking for them .. I could just see them in there giggling quietly and telling each other "shhhh!"
