Toothbruses and Independence

Here are the kiddos brushing their teeth. They don't like us helping them, although we do have to so the bristles actually clean their teeth. But then it's their turn to take over. Addyson actually does pretty well, and Aeron will for a bit, but as you can see, he likes the rubber end just as much as the brush end.

Aeron is loving his independence as he walks around on his own. He has done a 180 in the last week or so. He used to be by my side almost all the time, especially when we were in a strange place with strange people, but now he takes off by himself and actually goes to people he really doesn't know.

Addyson is trying to learn to crawl on her hands and knees. Every once in a while now she gets up and takes a few steps on her knees, but if she has a longer distance to go, she gets on her belly and does the pulling and army crawling. No matter what, she gets where she wants, that's for sure.

These two are getting the cutest personalities. Both know the word "no" and it's so funny how they react. We have watched both Addyson and Aeron crawl by the dog food, shake their heads "no," and keep going. This doesn't mean they still don't try to sneak a piece of food or try sloshing in the water, but they look at us before they do it and then slink back when they know they have been caught. Little stinkers. :)

Your kids are so funny. We are all going to have to get together this summer with all of the kids it will be fun. I am going through alot of the stuff that you are going through with maddie. She sticks out her bottom lip to cry but only does it when we are looking at her. It is funny. Preston and maddie had scott and I laughing really hard tonight. They are just getting to be so funny. There personalities and them becoming big people. Your kids look really good. Can't believe how fast they grow.

Oh, hOw I wish Andrew liked his toothbrush that much!! Emma never seemed to mind it too much, but Andrew just fights and screams. We are usually pretty successful with one of those rubber fingertip things, but I think those are really more for babies with no to few teeth. Someday...
