I thought Aeron talked a lot before .. and he did .. but he's not slowing down in the least. This boy will ask anything about everything. If you lend him an ear, he'll talk it off. His mouth moves a mile a minute and his mind is jumping to the next topic before he's done getting out another. In the car and before bedtime are two of his favorite times to talk.. about anything he can think of. Many a nights I am nodding and whispering, "Okay, Aeron .. yep .. okay .. good night .. Aeron time to stop talking now.. love you!" as I pull the door shut. Last weekend the kids spent the night at Uncle Vinnie and Aunt Michele's and he had a whole slew of stories in a matter of minutes ranging from fighting tigers in the jungle, to monster trucks, to walking on cold ice just so he didn't have to lay down and fall asleep.
The kids started gymnastics at the Y on Saturday mornings. So far both Addyson and Aeron love it. They have jumped down a long trampoline, walked balance beams, somersaulted, hung from the bars, and just had a good ol' time jumping around.
Stretching..
Addyson walking the balance beam..
Aeron hanging from the bar..
After gymnastics today the kids and I drove to the bowling alley to see daddy. Aeron, of course, bowled some games and Addyson took off with cousin Emma. I took them home for lunch soon after and we stopped to get the car washed on the way. Driving out of the car wash, Addyson said, "Aeron till has his bowlin' shoes on!" Sure enough. No one noticed Aeron walking out without changing his shoes. I had buckled him in his seat and never saw them. The kids just giggled and giggled the whole way home. Luckily, we know the owners, so we'll just take them back the next time. :) Aeron is actually napping with the bowling shoes on his pillow right now.
Little Miss Addyson is still my handy helper. She loves being right there when I need something. She helped me put the groceries away this morning. She put the eggs away nice and carefully, although she wanted to crack one on purpose. Luckily I talked her out of that one. She loves helping me make dinner. It's always nice having a little person run after something you need.

I know what you mean about having a little helper. When maddie wants to help she is great at it. She will get Preston's lovie for him or a pop out of the fridge for me. Sometimes it is a little to much helping but at least she trys.
