Snow Day

Everything in Wooster was closed today. Mom came home early and Dad was home tonight, too. We had a nice family night in watching the white stuff coming down. It was a good day to snuggle with blankets.

Just the other day we were trying on our new winter hats, although we really don't plan on using them much this winter. But at least we have them for when we do need them! Looks like Addyson likes hers a little more than Aeron.

Aeron did get to wear his on Monday, when I had to take him to Akron for a cardiologist appointment. Since being in the NICU, we knew he had a small PFO (patent foranum ovale), which is a small hole in the heart, much like the PDA that Addyson had to have ligated while in the NICU. But many people live their lives with the PFO and never have problems .. they just wanted to take another look at it to make sure it wasn't getting larger, etc, because the last echo he had in December still showed it.
After one of the longest appointments we have had in quite some time, we came home with great news. We don't have go back and see the cardiologist any longer because he couldn't even see the PFO this time. He also said his heart looks really good, normal sized, normal thickness and there is no sign of long-term high blood pressure effects, which he is still on medication for. All wonderful news.

Cute Pictures! I tried to take Izy out in the snow on Tuesday (our snow day). She really liked it till she fell out of the sled, so I decided I would let her try to stand in the snow, that wasn't so great either...face first! After that we decided she had enough fun for one day. I can't wait till next year when we can get all 3 kids out and go sled riding!!!
