Aeron has learned to crawl. In the last few days he had been taking 4 or 5 steps at a time and then resting or lunging forward, then getting up and crawling a few more steps. This morning he starting taking more and more steps before stopping, and he just kept getting stronger and faster as the day went on. He's never been anywhere but the living room on his own, and he explored all over the dining room today by himself. He is loving his new-found freedom. And miss Addyson is getting a little jealous, we think .. she gets on her belly and flings her arms and legs around and gets mad when she doesn't go anywhere. She has also gotten up on her hands and toes a few times, which is pretty amazing to see. She's graduated from those mini-pushups to grown up push-ups.
Below are some pics from the last few days.
They both have found playing with Bailey's (the dog) toys are just as much, if not more fun than playing with their own.

New sleepers .. check out the feet!

Grandpa Y came to see us today .. okay, so the dryer was squeaking and mom called him because it was driving her crazy, but he of course had to see the kiddos, too.

Is that a dog bone I see on the floor? That's actually how Emma started crawling. She always wanted to get to Cole's bone so we would move it further and further away until one day she gradually crawled her way to it.
Way to go, Aeron, by the way!
Yes, that would be a dog bone. It is a great motivator. He actually chased Bailey's ball all over the house the day he "learned." I think both the ball and bone will be used for Addyson, too.
I can't believe he's crawling!! That's great! I'm sure Pudge will not be far behind :)
